I'm listening to Bunny Wailer's "Blackheart Man" album on YouTube right now. The first time I gave it a listen it didn't appeal to me. It seemed a bit too mellow, too sweet. I've had a pretty rough day and as I suspected, this is just what I need right now.

Inspired by the Thoughts On Bob thread and the mention of Joe Higgs, I can't resist putting on his 'Unity Is Power' album.
What a beautiful album, highly recommended, I can listen to this one all day...

Queued up some playlists on YouTube tonight: Black Uhuru's Red, Abyssinian's Satta Massagana and Steel Pulse's Handsworth Revolution. I'm currently listening to Satta...

Red was a lot of fun but began to wear on me toward the end; I was in the mood for some heavy stuff by the time it was over. (Super Ape, King Tubbys Meets Rockers..., maybe) Satta...is blowing me away and I've ordered the deluxe edition about halfway through.
