who should hail as the king of reggae now?

first hails bob marley as the king of reggae and i would think peter touch is pretty mouch in the same category. bob was more like a martin luther king of reggae, while peter was more militant like malcom x of reggae. and so bob dubbed dennis prown as the "crown prince". who do you consider next in line? it could be a veteran artist singer or DJ. or even a new artist. but you have to state why. they all have to be currently alive not deceased. that's been on my mind for quite some time and was wondering what other people thought.

I would say sizzla really reached far for an artist... but thats not the same. to my humble opinion, is Coxsone Dodd the only King of music.

Just keep it as you mentioned...No one else should be crown...History was written and what was made, was made. Do we have a someone after Luther King or Garvey? No. Is there someone next to heroes like Che Guevara? No.
Bob Marley? Don't think so. There should not be a "next in line".

Burning Spear was is and will continue to be the king of reggae music no more no less of a king than bob marley.

other than that it doesnt really matter, there is so much good reggae music out there its hard to dispute who is next in line for the crown.

I don't think Che Guevara is any kind of hero, alot of people think Che was a good man/soldier. The truth is Che was a murderer, he killed anyone who had a different opinion then his own, including his own (sounds more like he was a comunist to me). A real soldier doesn't kill his own in my book, Fidel played him like a fiddle.
