This is the man that Burning Spear copied his singing style from, he turned his back on the reggae business 30 years ago after a fall out with Jack Ruby but it looks like he's back with a vengeance
Interview March 2009
Singing "Baghdad" in The Park
"Crying Time" killa sound
This man deserves alot more recognition

No problem, if I can introduce just one person to Mr Linton my mission is accomplished!
Check out some of his works from the 70's on the "Roots Master" compilation, if you like a more modern sound look for "Kingman & Jonah".
Last I heard he was working on a new project with Jr Dan as well. Not sure what happened to that though as Jr Dan is in London and Claudius is currently homeless in Long Beach CA.

Re: Favourite YouTube Videos
This video Inna de Yard (2008) rules everything.
Freedom Street, original tune by Ken Boothe, played by China Smith and other legends. Also an amazing ska dancing perfomed by Flabba Holt, the bassman of the Roots Radics.
BIG UP!
Re: Favourite YouTube Videos
I've loved the Inna de Yard video, here's something I just stumbled across - a great Skank by Bobby Ellis
