Shennanigans comes for the Gaelic Irish word sionnachuighim which means to play the fox or be fox like. In its english use it leans towards mischievous or child like play.

Geansaí as in "knits geansai & clarkes booty" is also Gaelic Irish and means pullover / jumper.
