I've got the "Clash of the Andy's" album and it's truly a GREAT artwork, specially on the back.

Unfortunately, my cover is in only VG- condition...

Blessings,

hey guys did you know Limonious recorded a one single? the artwork's real underwhelming on the label, but it is a one-off drawing with no dialogue bubbles, however. Great Singer, btw

cartoon fan, title is Yong Love, but an original comp,. not the Lloyd Clarke song. Wax label, brilliant falsetto. If I remember, Limonious died of AIDS in the 90's? Charlie Morgan commissioned Limonious to do a 7" sleeve art which probably holds one of your dusty Outernational label records.

Such is my lack of suh-fissed-uh-kay-shun, I've just figured out how to do mp3 samples, can I ask the dumb question, where's a convenient place to post these things for your eyes and ears? (I've avoided my homepage and myspace thus far.)

Cartoon Fan,

I have Sugar Minott - Rydim (GREL 82).

Has a nice Luminous black & white cartoon on the back.

I have put digital pic of my copy here for you to see

.

Musically not a memorable album...

Maybe it's been noted already - but two Frankie Paul lps come to mind - Tidal Wave & Still Alive. Also, Limonious did a funny/small poster to promote a Captain Barkey 7" 'Dead Wah' [about Tiger's motorcycle 1994 crash]

I am afraid I have to disagree with Bredder Collie about Rydim.

I love this LP!

'If I didn't Love you' is one of Sugar's best ever songs!

As for Mr Lumonious, it seems he liked his women, er, well appointed judging by his representation of them in his artwork!!!!

I think he died two years ago from diabetes. I'm pretty sure he has passed away, not sure if it was two, three or more years ago though.
