Different take. I prefer the "live" studio take. Also, the track on the LP is of average audio quality (its the last track on the LP, and when mastering is average, the songs closest to center are distorted. The case for this track and LP, unfortunately. I've checked a 2 nd copy, same issue)

So here comes my question:

Was a 12" or 7" of "Sexy Sandy" ever released?

No 7" or 12" that I know of.

However, you can pick up "Sexy Sandy" and also "Carry on Henry" in excellent souund quality on this compilation.

Although "King of the Ghetto" is a great Jackie Edwards album and definately worth being in the collection.
