Buy all of the African Dub albums. They are all very good!

In an earlier post on this topic (from deep space rah on Oct 5th)mention was made of Lee Perry & King Tubby 'In Dub Confrontation'and of how it was a sort of dub rocksteady release. Loving both dub and rocksteady I had a listen to the samples on Amazon - loved what I heard but no copies in stock at the moment - anyone know where I can get a copy from - and can anyone recommend any other dubs of rocksteady material.

A lot of the Studio One albums have a fair amount of rock steady dubs eg Hi Fashion Dub and Dub Store Special, but they tend to be a mixture of rock steady and reggae (and the occasional ska). Same goes for the Treasure Isle dub albums.

i remember when i bought this album on vinyl , c. 1984, i was sooo excited to hear such a marvellous album with such unique sound effects and vocals. magnificent dub it is .
