two great isaacs releases..gregory of course, not barry.....DUB A DE NUMBER ONE..on heartbeat..a wicked bunch of dubs of some 80s classics..and extra classic, a twofer with outlandishly hard dubs of all the vocal tracks after the vocal album

gregory..a fine ambassador for dub and vocal roots. i mean, the great, excellent quality of dub a de number one, is a thing truly to marvel at. supremely good music, with bits of vocals thrown in as well. hard riddims, great dub.

Hi,

Think this is the best Gregory Isaac dub album around.

Get the African Museum re-issue on CD and not the Trojan as shown.

The Africa Museum has some wicked bonus dubs from the 70`s

Greetings,

Albums:
Lee Perry - Megaton Dub I and II (although, I do skip over a few tracks)
Prince Far I - Cry Tuff Dub Encounter I and III (haven't heard II yet, but want to get my hands on that original!)
Hugh Mundell - Africa Must Be Free By 1983 Dub

I do not agree with a lot of the dub album selections, but there are also many that I haven't heard, so I need to do some listening!

Praises,
Jah Chicken

Hi Jah Chicken

Cry Tuff II is an excellent album.

I believe the original is now very hard to find.

The "Dubwise" album / CD on Virgin Frontline contains most of the tracks from this album plus some other good dubs.

Worth picking up while you continue to search.

Respect

Dave

yeah, indeed slum ..gregory in dub..is a great album.a unique mixture of vocal snatches, african type drumming, organ riffs, bass, and riddim guitar. what a special album it is. i,d love to hear that cd re release that rootsman mentioned. incidentally, on dub a de number one, the wickedest, tuffest track is the mix of the border, complete with echo type vocal snippets ,try it !!!
