Hi Mark

OK, "Strike..." is not a dub album more an instrumental album, but nethertheless an excellent album imo and one of my favorites in the genre on instru/dub.

The reason I picked out this album was the Winston Edwards connection (with him having produced the "Natty Locks Dub" which was the subject of this thread.

As he is still alive and we were talking of a possible reissue of "Natty Locks Dub", I mentioned this one too as a possible reissue.

On the same subject "Dub Conference at 10 Downing Street" also a Winston Edwards album is also deserving of a reissue.

The same can also be said for the Sylvan Morris albums

Morris On Dub
Reggae Workshop
Cultural Dub

All worthwhile dubs that deserve to be heard, but the truth is that of all genres of reggae these type of dub albums are the least likely to get the reissues they deserve.

hi !

Natty Locks Dub exept 3 tracks a Lee Perry thing,

but i always wondered who was mixing all that Well Pack Band material coming after The Natty Locks ... Dennis Black Beard Bovell ?

i remember picking up a 45 a couple years back called

Herbmann Style From The Ghetto / jah shakin dub [stop point]
