Yes, Dave, that is the post I fell over.
You're probably right, because you both don't know better.
Otherwise we wait for Dozzer to explain.

Hello lost shoe.Creation rebel and Jah Lloyd are both excellent. Check some Singers and Players if you get the chance, they starred the great Prince Fari and were well worth a listen. Very dated now, but quality stuff, you get a vocal then a dub trails along afterwards. And check any Prince Fari dubs that you possibly can. Well worth a go.Augustus Pablo has a fine album named Rising Sun. Check the first track, Dub Wiser!!

Hi Sean, sorry I'm late, but my PC broke completely and it needed a time to get back with a new one.
I got the first 3 Prince Far I Dub albums. I like them very much, of course.
Augustus Pablo records as well, but never heard Rising Sun. I will watch it.
Other great Dub albums I saw mentioned here before:
Scientist Meets The Space Invaders
Mikey Dread/African Anthem
World Sound And Power/Mawamba Dub
and many more ......
I'm surprised almost nobody seems to have some Wackie records in their top lists.

Haven't read this whole thread, but thought I'd add my 2cents.
Prince Far I and The Arabs 'Dub Encounter: Chapter One'
Prince Far I 'Dubwise'
-Prince Far I got the crucial dubs!
Scientist 'rids the world of the evil curse of the vampires'
The upsetters '14 Dub Blackboard Jungle' has to be one of my favourites for sure!
And can't go past any Augustus Pablo productions. He's got the melodies that keep I an I feeling irie.
Peace

Dear Shoe
Actually i much prefer other dub to Wackies. Never have i been a fan of Mr Minott, and i really like Jah Thomas and Prince Fari in dub. Pablos best disc is Eastman dub, ive mentioned it on this thread many times already, its very good dub from about the early 1980s, it features input from Tetrack, the vastly underrated reggae group. Regards
Sean

Just been playing 'Slum' Gregory in Dub...try it... but as the best dub album, mmm, three are often mentioned - KT meets Rockers Uptown (don't download it hear the vinyl..!), the awesome Lee Perrys' Super Ape and African Dub Chapter 3...
The Almighty Twos' African Dub Chapter 3 has been doing it for me for over 25 years..! Tribesman Rockers is a quality dub of Lord Creators' Kingston Town,
and then on KT meets Rockers Uptown, how the Jacob Miller track 'Baby I Love You So' is re invented in 'Say So' is truly staggering. Genius, and KT repeats it time and time again.
His KT Special 1973 - 1976 features so much beauty... play Spears' 'Black Wa Da Da' alongside 'Ruffer Version' (is it the first techno record?), or just marvel at how U Roy and KT combine (the roots of all that remains pure...)in his KT Special.
Perry was the man who must be credited with KT for the innovation and genius to have given us what we still love, nearly 40 years on./././ Super Ape and Blackboard Jungle are hard to match…
Keith Hudson (Pick A Dub), must also figure,,? or if we talking dub, how about Keiths' dub to U Roys' 'Can you keep a secret' - his Chuckles Satanic version is one I have loved -
and Pablo is mighty, 'east of the river nile' and 'eastman' ...!!
Ok, what about the best dub 7 or 12 inch??? Or who is carrying the flame…
