most of them are bogus pirate releases... released by Jah Woosh.....

they are most certainly not "bogus pirate releases" though they are on jah woosh's original music label.
they are spotty...some great some good some not so good, often combining one great and one awful LP onto one cd. there is one in particular that is weak machine music. but they are at least decent and often spectacular in my opinion.

So far I have found only two 'Perry' related tracks on those Sensi Dub albums: a version cut of king Burnett's "I Man Free" (Sensi Dub 2)and a Glen Brown version of Dennis Brown's "Wolf And Leopards" (Sensi Dub 6).

some people don't seem to disagree with me...
http://www.roots-archives.com/release/880
loads of other dubious stuff on that label also...Reminiah Dub, Hardcore dub, Trenchtown dub

what exactly then is a "bogus pirate release"?
to me its saying you know for a fact that jah woosh was never authorized to release this stuff and in fact is a blatent bootlegger.
and thats what i disagree with. mostly because i doubt you know the behind the scenes story.

By the power of vodoun I bring this thread back to the living.
Was listening to the Hard Core Dub album with Sly & Robbie released on Original Music (great set) and it made me think about this series. Pulled out pt. 3 which is a bit of a hit or miss story but at least had a nice dub to Reggae George from his Showcase LP for Jah Woosh (incredible set).
So which parts are crucial and which not so much? I've only got one or two parts at home so very curious. Used to see these around everywhere but then Woosh passed away and now they seem a bit more difficult to come by.
If you have time please right a small review or mention of what rhythms are dubbed on the specific volume.
