Trojan are doing some quite good re-releases of late . Limited runs of 7" singles , usually about a 500 copy run . This has come out of the blue . Ordered my copy straight away , released tomorrow (tu)
May be there are only 500 reggaefans willing to pay. The rest is downloading and the rest of the world doesnt care. I dont think our (paying) reggaeworld is a very big one. EG if you sell on ebay regulary the same 300 -400 people worldwide order and are making bids. Which isnt allot. Another example this limited edition is still available. http://www.pressure.co.uk/store/PSSLP70 ... en-sleeve/
I guess the people who are listening reggae is whole lot bigger compared to the people paying for it. And Trojan knows that.
Only when the chinese come and are getting inteterested in reggae music the reggaemarket could get a push.
I'm slightly tempted to buy it, maybe if it had been £6, but £20 is a bit steep considering that on their own website they admit that some of the tracks are ridiculous
I’m torn between the knowledge that when Perry’s productions are good, their amazing, but when their bad their god awful

Trojan has geared this towards the "Scratch completist", not so much the average fan. Completists will gladly pay the 20, as it's not everyday an unreleased Scratch production sees the light of day.
Personally I am going to pass on this one, as late-era Scratch is pretty much a hit-and-miss affair.
