Im confused as to why there are two albums with this title, the one listed on RA discography originally on the Prophets label then reissued by B&F, i have on cd.
The other version originally on the Prestige label mixed by Pat kelly(currently on ebay @£220!!)seems rare as hens teeth.Also different tracks entirely.
Has the second lp(Prophesies of dub as opposed to Prophesy of dub)ever been re-pressed on vinyl or released on cd?

confused about reggae LP's having similar titles but being totally different - surely you jest!
(i) 2 different LP's - as i see it the one of prophets/BF is the better - but the other on prestige is rarer
(ii) dont think its been been reissued on LP/CD - although the tracks could be available in different form here and there
(iii) i think one is "prophecy of dub" the other is "prophecies of dub"

As far as I am aware it has never been reissued on either CD or vinyl.
It is an excellent album and completely different to the B&F reissued "Prophesy of Dub"

haha yes jayb im a jokersmoker! Damn this reggae confusion. This explains the hefty price on ebay.Out of my price range sadly.Ive found one track on discogs with a sound sample, other than that very little info.Does anyone know how many copies of Prophesies of Dub might have been pressed? the seller on ebay said hed never seen a copy of this version with the "blue" cover but had seen 3 or 4 versions with a "green" cover.Any further info on this would be greatly appreciated,

To get all info in one place.
How many copies no one knows I guess. But based on my experience how often it pop up on ebay I would say less then 500. But keep in mind it is also a LP nobody likes to sell. So on the the other hand appearance on ebay doenst say that much.
