It's on the album 'Higher and higher' released in the 90's, apparently it was recorded in 1989 and Cartlon passed on 1987, so if the recording date is right it can't be him.

Producers: Clive Hunt, Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespear.

it is Carlie, this song was recorded way before the album was released. not unusual for a record to include tracks recorded way way before its release date.
