Zion Hill dub on Pressure Sounds

Post by Bobbo »

Next album release on Pressure Sounds is the 'Zion Hill Dub' album by Bobby Kalphat and Phil Pratt. The album has never had a full release before and has only ever been previously available as a white label. The original ten tracks will be supplemented by 8 more bonus tracks. There will be a couple of 45s from the album which will all be available in April 2013. As well as this album we will be releasing to two excellent 45s on the Underground label. Keith Goode's 'Jah Jah Deliver Us' and Don Prendes 'Ska Ba Doo Ba Day'. These two 45s will be both pressed as limited editions. A bumper April on Pressure Sounds.

Fantastic news! Great dub album with some killer melodica.

Also just saw that Pressure Sounds will soon be releasing the album called Rebel Rock, produced by Count Shelly. I'm unfamiliar- anyone know about this record?

I always wonder why they never released Al Campbell's "Gee Baby" lp(Only killers no fillers).
I think all tunes were released on single with dubs.

Just seen the cover for this release and lets just say it doesn't do the music justice. It just looks really corny.

Is it that bottle with a chilli pepper on it? Surely that's a joke? They cannot be serious?
