the Sound Dimension

Post by fattyjay »

Been listening to a few cuts off Version Dread (http://www.roots-archives.com/release/4418) after looking for the dubplate for Horace Andy's New Broom and was wondering if anyone has some insight as to who played in the Sound Dimension (http://www.roots-archives.com/artist/990)

thanks mucho!!

Studio One's in-house band. Who ever was available to play at that particular recording day.....A loose group of artists. Sometimes listened as soul vendors, soul brothers, soul bros, muscle souls, soul boys, soul rebels etc etc

...Brentford Rockers, Brentford Disco Set, Brentford (Road) All Stars, Underground Vegetables, New Establishment...

Quite creative considering that other studios had also in-house bands with changing artists but stucl to one name.
