Bullet Dub is actually almost more of a early deejay album I would say. Some fine playing by Rico but there is a man (I don't know who) doing some early style deejaying sporadically over the songs on the whole album.

I think there is a Dandy/George Lee/Downtown label connection with the Bullet Dub lp , there are some of their rhythms on it , anyway !

Should you have Boris Gardner - Ultra Super Dub Vol 1 on your list too?

Still not heard Bullet Dub. Is it using the skinhead riddims from his 69/70 productions or is it more like this:

If its early stuff it could be Pama Dice deejaying on it.

@ SteveT

DJ sounds similar to sample on your link .Very hard to define the groove on this release , as it dots around . A slooow slack version on the Liquidator rhythm on it , a version with " Burial of Longshot ( Prince of Darkness/George Lee ) ridden over with dub , a toking anthem which could be called "Legalize It ", a version of the Troggs track , " With a Girl Like You " as well ! Basically six instrumentals and six dubs .

Hey folks, thanks for all the replies! I actually already have that Clive Hunt album on cd, and the points made about the bullet dub make sense. As far as The Ultra Super Dub Vol 1, I have never seen or heard of it, but I am SURE it exists....there is so much out there that actually "exists", but only a lucky few have ever seen or heard them! Intriguing to think about (sp?), and makes it all the more fun collecting Dub!
