Messenjah

Post by ahwhoseh »

I am looking for good quality copies from this Toronto band that did their recordings in San Diego CA durring the 80's. they came out with three strong albums at this time called "Rock You High", "Jam Session", and "Cool Operator".

Anyone have quality copies of any of these 3 albums and would like to share with me it would be most appreciated. bless

don't pay much for these, every store in my city has a dozen copies of each.

if you are in north america i may be able to send you a copy depending if i find one under $10(quite likely)

check out their drummer odel's album mind&body sold. featuring fully fullwood and tony chin, mixed by scientist wicked new roots

i have found a lot of 4 items of them , it s a nice reggae band their style is sometimes very close to Steel Pulse I think.
As they have made some albums before 1985 i dont know why any of them are still not in the database

I got some record from this band. I don't have my discs here but I thought it was the Black Messenjah, or maybe Messenjah like the band you're talking about. The song I got goes like, "africa is burning and the black man is doing the freak", with a great cover. Excellent song.
So, is that the same band ? If yes, are the other songs as good ?
