This weekend I'll be riding the Electra Glide around England in search of towns or places with silly names. I'll start in Clowne and visit places as silly as Six Mile Bottom, or Blubberhouses.
I'm doing this to publicise the UK charity event - The Red Nose Day.

I'll have the stereo cranked right up, blasting out the best reggae tunes.
So if you see a madman with a big bike bedecked with red noses and playing roots rock reggae, give me a wave!

Can't do really rude stuff sadly, due to Red Nose restrictions. Six Mile bottom is pushing my luck!
So I am having to give But Hole Lane and Fanny Hands Lane a miss. Also off the cards is Gay Street (a village in Surrey) or Twat in Scotland - and a host of other downright rude UK placenames!
But I am planning to organise this on a bigger scale in summer, open to other riders. And this time allowing no-holds barred names.
I'd like to set it up so we donate proceeds to a good charity. So I'd be open to suggestions for some really needy cause - and one that doesn't involve the first 50K raised or so going on directors salaries!
It needs to be a cause that the general public will get behind though.

Hi Nacho
There are discussions on various forums devoted to silly or rude place names. They make hilarious reading. Just google silly place names - or rude place names.
