The credits from "How the West was Won" indicate that all tracks were written by B. Letts and H. Lawes, where H. Lawes is of course Jonjo Lawes, which would seem to mean that Toyan's real name is B. Letts. A Roots Archives search for Letts didn't bring up anything, but at least it's a start.
