No offense taken. I just threw out some easy to find [for the most part] solid roots albums. There are many more that I would consider essential, but for someone just starting a roots collection, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the albums I listed.

i think u have enough to keep u going a few years there trevor! hope u get into them all like i did when i first got into roots, is a magical journey, i just wish the jamiacan youths of today where into roots like they used to be, the roots scene seems to have died in JA from what i've heard, this is such a shame, and makes me sad when i think of this, i suppose thats just same with everything tho, JA had something so special and still does i just hope roots comes back over there.
