Johnny Osbourne

This may be a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway. What was Johnny Osbourne doing between 1970 ("Come Back Darling") and 1979 ("Truth and Rights")? I tried searching the forum but couldn't come up with anything. If this has already been discussed I apologize.

hi chris, far as i know he emigrated to canada and put his career on hold until returning to JA late 70's and started recording at studio 1. hope this is of some help.

If i remeber right while in Canada he record some tracks.Also he play percusion in the Noel Ellis production.

Also recorded some great stuff ina JA like PURIFY YOUR HEART (Techniques) or MR. MARSHALL an JAHOVAH (Jammy´s productions).

Recorded a version of Nyah Man for Half Moon as well as his stuff at Summer Records with Jerry Brown...and some stuff for Tropical in addition to other Canadian labels as well.
