can anyone tell me what is the original of the tune HOOLIGAN ?
I know versions of Glen Washington, John Holt , last time I found a 12" of Ronnie Davis

That's right...this riddim was produced by Coxsone Dodd...

In the album VA-HOOLIGAN RIDDIM you have songs like:

but, before this there's versions of Jhon Holt, Freddie Mc Gregor, Earl Sixteen, Clint Eastwood, etc... I think 6anbatte is right, the original tune is "change your style" - The Paragons

anyone have a link to soundclip for that ronnie davis 12"? been trying to hear it forever, dont really want to buy it without checking! respect

John Holt did many different versions, but one of my favourite is "Don't fight your brother" on Channel 1 label. Killer organ intro !
