In my thread earlier I pointed out that I had gained 2 stone in less than a year - thats quite a lot of tissue (and bodybuilding works by breaking down the muscle tissue in exercise and forcing the body to rebuild stronger to cope for next time) - I was getting over 100grams of protein a day from my lacto ovo diet (7g from one egg) - you don't need meat to get protein - your vegan diet would have made it more difficult, of course, especially if beans and rice were a problem, but why not a whey protein supplement?
