What do rasta's think about alcohol?

alcohol is babylon's poison. they would rather you drink alcohol that completly intoxicates your body and mind causing many of the problems we have in the world today than smoke an herb that you cant overdose on. the worst side effect of herb is the munchies and sleepiness. where do i start with alcohol?

I'd think lung cancer would rank above munchies and sleepiness, no?

But as yet, there's no evidence to support the claim that weed gives you lung cancer.

I am not saying it won't - just that it isn't proven and much of the scientific evidence even suggests it doesn't.

Your link quotes a study that marijuana is less HARMFUL than cigarettes. I mean I smoke herb too, but you can't tell me that shit ain't good for your lungs. Know any friends that have been smoking for a while? They have coughs that rate as tremors? It's all a trade off - some of us choose to work in dangerous jobs, or jaywalk in high traffic zones, or throw back 12 Guiness . I'm not condemning anything ( I think it's a beautiful drug which has been more than helpful to a couple of my ailing friends), but I'm also realistic.

Me and my brother have some pretty bad herb smoking record. I have smoked for 30 years. LOADS. Never tobacco, just herb. My lung capacity, and breath, were recently measured. Way above average.

I too think that anything taken into the body can do harm. SO I am not complacent. Just a balance I guess.

And I am fairly healthy with my life and habits, so this is my one bad vice.

But read my posts, and you'll see I note some bad effects I have suffered from weed. And Skunk in particular can be very bad for the digestion.

started drinkin alcohol at 6yrs[my father used to give me a bottle from a fridge dat seemed to be running on alcohol not electricity, whenever he was guzzling some...]
I started smokin d herb at 12yrs wid my friends in primary sch.
NB:never was i caught as it was illegal in sch.

presently I drink and smoke, but I prefer burnin d weed to drainin bottles of liquor... its also cheaper for me.
