Whats going on roots community, I started this thead to talk about how reggae has influence all of your lives. For me i was into metal and punk real angry stuff, and in turn i was a modern rudeboy. I had no path no direction, and full of angrer. I channeled most of that anger into my own music, but when I was about 18 I discovered reggae. Reggae turned my life around because to hear people sing happy music in the must destitute of situations made me understand the power of music. I brought reggae into my life and it has made all the difference. I have a band called bums lie that reflects my feelings, and you can check us out at http://www.myspace.com/bumslie.

No no, not at all, but your msg is in the wrong place in the forum, this is in the contributions part of the forum where not many people look as it relates to adding to the website, your best off putting this comment in the "reggae discussions" or "off topic" part of the forum

You will get a better responce there, the moderators job is to make sure that peoples posts are in the right place.

Born in 1960, got into reggae in 1973, punk in 76 then back into reggae in 78.
It has defined the pace of my life, I work a bit part time and spend my leisure time listening to reggae and windsurfing. I am told that if I get any more laid back I will stop
