Big up Rootikalist, him never say him rasta. There is nothing wrong with having the odd glass of very good wine or beer with the organic stylee in fact it is quite healthy.
The problem is when you drink cheap booze that they pump full of chemicals, which lead you wanting more of the chemicals than the grapes, barley and hops.
I am not good at drinking and can just about finish a glass of good wine in 5 hours say once a year.
The chemicals and rubbish they put in alcho pops is the problem and cheap cheap rubbish.
Same with if you eat meat you get the organic free range stuff and not all the chenical meat products.
Everyone to their own.

Yes i'm with you , cheap cheap rubbish i've seen in africa or in india , and sometimes in italy too..it's bad. Many people destroy their mind and their health with that shit and i think it's evil thing

I even think that the "effects" of alchool depends on your roots and your culture...in south europe (not only south) there is a good wine and beer culture and we drink to appreciate the taste , to know the history of a good wine and to abbinate it with good food...in other place alchool is only a thing to get drunk.

I'm luck because i live in a country with good food culture...and i think that eat good and drink good is very important. When i went to London i was scared to see thousand people eat fried chicken and cocacola in the tube or in the street at 4pm...lol...that's surely no good for your body!

Once you learn to cook your not want to eat out again.
I learnt to cook by no one else was going to cook it for me and i could not buy other peoples stuff take out cos its expensive.so starve or learn to cook.
Its amazing what you can do with a bit of pasta, rice and peas, carrots and red peppers oh yer and dont forget the scotch bonnet peppers i like it hot.
I then go and pick my bay leaves off my tree and rosemary, tyme and all fresh. Runner beans straight off the vine. All you need is a little patio on your london council estate and your off growing tomates.

I have to agree with Rootikalist, I am Belgian and I really can enjoy the taste of a good Trappist Beer or a good wine (of course not Belgian)(I dont drink dem pop alcohol you know, what is a very wicked babylonian evil poison to seduce dem yoot).
It is also true dat alcohol can destroy lives and families when not consumed wisely and for a lot of people it is hard drugs (and it is hard drugs in my opinion).
But if you drink one glass a week (or even a day) you are not drunk and not causing problem,
drink wisely is the message and drink nature!!

Rasta nah drink fi drunk I&I would say!
Mercy a gone and judgment a come!
