i totally agree with you, where is the adventure ?? to go out and spend hours at a time looking through record bins / boxes etc. i don't support it at all, i read somewhere it's called GREEDbay.

lol in italy you never find a record shop with boxes of reggae records...good reggae records...and i can't go to london 30 times every year. So ebay is the only way to get nice records and for me it's good and as Bonga says you can get rare records for good price if you are patient

I am also too far away from any reggae record shop to buy anywhere but eBay. But careful picking there can turn up bargains.

Can`t agree,Gingy Fly,sorry.Ebay is ok if you do your homework, bide your time and wait for the bargain that WILL come along !

Soooooo much fun to be had, though, going to secondhand record shops and ploughing through racks of crap to find that elusive tune .

I agree, that it is great going to second-hand, amity, salvation army typoe stores and shifting through boxes records (tu), but around here I find no reggae in these shops. Ebay can give you the same kind of experience... less fun to be had though.

Agreed, bargains on ebay too, but less fun, more frustrations (shipping, bidders @ second till closing, etc).

Ah, nearly forgot British Heart Foundation Shops! I buy tons of non-reggae vinyl from these. Most at £3 a pop!

Along the same lines... anyone here living in the west indies? I wonder if their second hand shops have had the same problems as yours ginga fly?

I've always imagined that a Jamaican used record shop would be my paradise :)

Incidentally, I just checked in **["Record Collector Magazine"](http://www.recordcollectormag.com/)** and they have 54 record fairs in the UK listed in May/June!!! 4 in London and the rest throughout the country!
