Have seen this band a few times now and think that they should get a bit of a plug.
They are a 10 piece ska / hip-hop band from Bristol and seem to do the festival circuit.
Within a minute of them starting up the field will fill up with people, all dancing to their infectious sound. Also the lyrics are quite concious. Yes they are quite young and modern, but they have an amazing, danceable sound.
I think music like this needs supporting

Bullit, I shall be in Bristol the first weekend in July as my son is moving down there. Any suggestions as to somehwere for an evening out ? Too old for nightclubs but do you know of any bands which may be playing which would be worth a listen.

We need a whole lot more of Jah Jah and a lot less rock and roll.

Sorry, dont know of any sound links. Anyway I would imagine that, as they do not have a record deal, any recordings could be naff and not capture the atmosphere of fun, fun, fun that they create.
Try and see them live, you wont regret it!
Almost all of the last set I saw was original with only one cover and that was not one of the usual suspects. Their (3 piece) horn section is very sweet.
