and there's no such thing as a lossless digital mp3....
( I think you call this an oxymoron in English... )

Re: Jammyland
As of June 1st 2008, our 60 East 3rd Street location has been closed.
We are currently looking for a new location. Please stay in touch for
our new location. In the interim, you may contact us at (212) 614-0185
and we will sort you out. Deliveries available!
Not the end apparently.
Bonga - read again. There is a comma.
you know what I mean!
My implication being that a lot of media players can't or won't handle flac or whatever other so called lossless formats that are available. So if it must be mp3 for the sake of widest compatibility it should be at the highest kbps rate - i.e. 320. Which is not the case with most digital music distributors, unfortunately.
I would guess that an oxymoron is called the same thing in a few other languages too - foremost Greek

Re: Vinyl in JA is NOT dead
that assumes that I would be using a Windows machine which I certainly would not!
I was thinking in terms of portable media players (iPods etc.) few of which support the lossless formats.
Of course you can always convert them to .wav or .aif
