heptones -- night food
How can I get a hold of this album on CD? I am pretty sure that it is out of print. I love the Heptones and have heard that this album is one of their best.

Earl represses it on occasion as "Night Food Ina Party Time" (or some such title) which combines both albums onto a single CD.

this album is in fact crucial in my opinion. there's a cd release on mango label (island), catalog "ccd 9381", but it doesn´t have any info about release date. i googled the barcode and found a [site](http://www.giantmusicstore.com/r-63885/ ... fault.aspx) offering it, hope it is helful to you

I like really only "mama say" and "deceivers" on the album, and its far to be one of the best Heptones for me! What about "Party time" or "Better days" (with Devon Morris in lead vocal)??
The compilation "the meaning of life: the best of the Heptones 1966-1976" is GREAT!

I love the Heptones output.
Night Food is such a great LP and seems to be so under-rated judging by its relatively lowly price on ebay.
Party Time is a classic and Better Days is also brilliant.
I haven't yet heard 'On Top' or 'Freedom Line' or 'Book of Rules' and would be interested to know how they sound as they tend to be expensive to buy on vinyl - my prefered medium.
And Mr Sibbles pops up in so many places, like he plays bass guitar on K Hudson's Flesh of My skin (talking of great albums!!!)...
I also have some excellent Wackies 45s featuring the great Sibbles.
