i m in Brasil for one month, i know some of you are from brasil. Could you indicate me good vynil shops out there and why not any other cool reggae connection ; bar, live music, etc. I ll be mostly in Rio and Belo Horizonte.

A lot of those shops have closed down. Besides, there's not one South American store on there.

I've not been searching fully but Belo Horizonte seems not to have a reggae shop. Well there is one called reggae nation but it is only selling t shirts and rasta pull over , etc. with a few cd (selection not to my taste). I have a friend who plays the dub out there but that's all I know.
Reggae vynils are very hard to find in this town according to the vynil shop I've been in.
There must be more but didn't have time enough to check it out.
Apart from that, brasilians are reggae aficionados and very receptive to its wonderful vibe.

in Rio with my Brazilian wife in February, we didnt find a single reggae shop, nowhere could we find decent reggae at all. Shame
