And wouldn't it be great if someone created a website dedicated to this great musician, my favorite of all reggae artisits. Unfortunately I have neither the time nor know how to do it myself.

Unless you are speaking of an LP re-release, I believe Jezebel *was* released on CD some years ago, but has been out of print for some time. What Island should do is issue a CD with both Jezebel and Justin Hind's other album from that era, Just In Time, along with a detailed biography/interview booklet. That would be worth it's weight in gold.

Update: Yes, Jezebel looks like it's made its way to the internet. So there must be CDs floating around (in Japan). But Just In Time, no releases, nada. Except that some dude on soulseek has an incomplete vinyl rip (first four tracks, killer)...

Well, the Japan release does have both Jezebel *and* Just In Time, so hopefully we might see it here in the west sometime soon.

Just In Time has been re issued lately in France by Passages Productions but imo not in the packaging it deserves.

Thanks for that bit of info. I'm surprised it has taken so long for someone to release this album on cd. To bad it wasn't done right as it makes it now unlikely anyone will spend money on another proper release. I can only hope that Mr. Hinds is receiving just compensation for it (no pun intended).
