I saw Winston Jarrett play at the Nectar Lounge (seattle) and he did studio one in a rubadub, early dancehall style on haile selassie's coronation day.
anyone know the name of his new album, or any of his albums in a rubadub early dancehall style?

I know he's done one with the Jah Shaka sound behind it called Children of the Ghetto if that helps at all. Very up to date Shaka riddim's.

started listening to Children of the Ghetto, heavy sounds (woooo!)
Anyone know and any dj version Winston Jarrett, more specifically, where Jarrett dj's over studio one songs?
I know he can do it, because he was doing it live.

Check the album 'Survival Is The Game' it is a compilation of some of his best works and has many standout tracks - not convinced it contains deejaying tho.
The Shaka LP by him is great - 'Food In The Pot' in particular.
