US label.... who's behind, cant remember...
They licensed a lot of JA stuff for US distribution.
Some real roots stuff there.

thus the Can in Jam Can(ada), lots of killer 12's and 7's on that label....Winston Riley affiliation, Jammy Affiliation amongst other super heavyweight producers

Actually there are no Riley associations with the label, JamCan was run by three people, two who worked out of Micron Records in the early 80's (that's the Micron shop street address on label). They released some of their own productions, and some for producer George Phang and one or two for Jammys. Some of Phang's first productions, such as the Echo Minott LP, were on the label. They also released some tunes with some very good Toronto-based artists, Noel Ellis and Chester Miller.
