Here is the idea for the thread:
Gregory Isaacs' "Night Nurse" LP sounds like it was recorded more or less using the same staff/personnel (players of instruments, studio, engineer, etc.) as John Holt's "Sweety Come Brush Me"LP (especially "Queen Of The Ghetto"). In fact, both were recorded in 1982, and sound very similar (voices and melodies apart)! Perhaps one day was "Night Nurse" recordings, and next day John Holt's session.
So:
G. Isaacs "Night Nurse" / J. Holt "Sweetie Come Brush Me" = match = twin albums
A second example:
Pioneers "Pusher Man" LP / Eclips Band "Inner Reggae Rhythm" LP
Any ideas for more similar examples?
Twin albums (records that sound similar, using same personnel)

interesting question...I posted a similar thing about dub LPs here
http://www.roots-archives.com/forum/rea ... #msg-84542
Are the producers the same for the 'twin' albums? These dub sets I posted have very similar versions of the same riddims, but usually done by the same producer. It's a bit more unusual when you're talking vocal albums though...

here is another set of twin albums:
Jahmel "Watchful Eyes" / Justin Hines "Travel With Love"
Because of very different writing skills and voice, you could think they are very different all together. But listen carefully the players of instruments. Same vibe. Of course, it's the wailers playing! And both albums recorded around 1982/1983!
