Culture in Dub - any similar lp's?

Post by Musitronics »

Hi.

I have to say this lp is a favourite of mine, the filtering on the horn sections is so cool and the arrangements are just wicked, it was the lp that opened my eye's to dub.

[cover=322,369]

What I'm not sure about is whether culture released any other Dub lp's?

Could anyone also recommend some similar lp's that are also nice and uplifting but also (dub)?

If you like that sound try some TAMOKI WAMBESI dub albums

http://www.roots-archives.com/label/411

Culture vocals appear on some of the Prince Far I albums

also take a look and listen to more CULTURE and Tamoki Wambesi releases at reggaerecord.com

hi there. as regards culture dub LPS, theres another album, scientist dubs culture into a parallel universe, was available at ernie b's a while back. on RAS label(2000) its the dub of the 'payday' album from the year before also on RAS.
a nice dub LP but nothing near the 'culture in dub' listed above.
but might be worth checking out.

Since Culture in Dub is mixed by Errol Brown, I'd guess other Errol Brown dubs would be what you're looking for.

Try this, it's great and can be found cheap:

The CD version of that same Culture album (on Heartbeat) has 7 bonus tracks if you want VERY similar stuff.

I also recommend this one: (No Bones for the Dogs)
