These days the people I converse with are generally sober.

I think when you are in a conversation while stoned it appears to be interesting, if you're listening to one amongst those smoking while straight they generally appear to be tedious and shallow.

As someone who creates music, art, writes etc I've found that Marijuana has the effect of suggesting that what you're doing somehow has another element or value to it, when actually that feeling is the by product of intoxication not that you are actually creating anything with greater artistic or spiritual value.

This is true, but any spiritual conversation is flabby without a feeling, and it's because language cannot define correctly that common topics by definition; thats because man create symbols. This kind of conversations are based on topics, almost necesarily. It's what you feel, how you feel, what make the interest. And herb can intensify this feeling.

Herb changes the perception perspective. As far as I've read (I'm not a doctor), there are different parts of the brain working a litlle bit more after you smoke a spliff (like somewhere in the frontal lobe), and another ones working a little bit less (like cerebellum). When you're sober, your brain turns back to his normal blood flow. I think this is the general rule, if anyone has problems in one inactive part of the brain, marijuana can bring it to light. IMO

So then, if you have a musical genius stoned, creating music, isn't the same as if you have a very bad musician smoking one. Different people, different results.

sorry for this boring stuff :):):)
