If the other singer has a name it is ok to say "also featuring Gregory Isaacs".
If the other singer impersonates Gregory it would not be ok to sell it like this.

hmmmm...why wouldn't it be ok to have singer A impersonate G.I. and singer B to be actually be G.I.?

Because it's a fraud and disrespectful to all customers paying for the product?

THIS IS OF COURSE NOT GREGORY ISAACS, not even close

IT'S CLOSE TO RIDICULOUS IN FACT. MADE ME LAUGH THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH

The closest part is when some guy sings "it's a system breakdown now", but even then, not even close

"LOT O MECY", "OOH WEE YOH", "LOD LOD LOD" gimmicks are used as a caricature

The truth is, this imitation shows to what extent GREGORY ISAACS the cool ruler is:

INIMITABLE

LONG LIVE GREGORY ISAACS & HIS MUSIC LEGACY

In my view, Gregory Isaacs is the best artist coming out of Jamaica in terms, along with 2 or 3 others.

His music, and his STYLE will live ON & ON & ON

well, if G.I. only sang one verse on this track, it wouldn't be fraud to say it features Gregory Isaacs

Yes it would if the other singer is anonymous and tries to imitate the featured singer.

Very confusing indeed. I know Dubmatix DO love their reggae, despite what some say here. But this does not sound like the Cool Ruler to me. Mind you, Gregory himself did not sound much like the Cool Ruler last time I saw him live either...

A lot of people on this board sound very sure of themselves on this thread, wouldn't like to second guess this one myself.
