· Augustus Pablo & King Tubby - King Tubby meets Rockers Uptown (from Jacob Miller's Baby I Love You So i think)
· Augustus Pablo & King Tubby - Black Gunn (the King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown LP version is really great, it's from Hugh Mundell's Book of Life i think)
· King Tubby's in fine style
· Augustus Pablo - Java
· Augustus Pablo - East Africa
i can't say only one!

Dread Lion is no dub tune, it's a scorching roots anthem if ever there was one!

Re: Favorite Dub Song
My fave dub song is one I never heard. On Steel Pulse's "True Democracy" the song, "Blues Dance Raid" is right on the ragged edge of what was BEGGING to be dubbed righteously and HARD! But to my eternal annoyance Island Records just did a board fade and what held SO much promise faded away.
Is there a dub version of this?

Java is nice eduzgz!
I guess if i have to choose my favorites is these.
"Cocaine"(Sly & The Revolutionaries)features on Black Ash Dub, "Blood Dunza Version" (King Tubby & The Aggrovators) , "Bedroom Mazurka Version" (Augustus Pablo, "A Noisy Place" (A king tubby dub of the horace andy song "A Quiet Place".
Trojan Dub Massive Chapter 1&2 im telling you buy it! It's an album which features classic oldschool hard, deep king tubby, prince jammy like dub tracks in a new deeper dimension and with sound effects.

1. The Gladiators - 'Pocket Money'. The vocal version is great, but things go up onto another level once the song spins off straight into the dub.
2. King Tubby - 'Beat Them in a Dub'. ('Dyon-Anaswa' by Upsetter),
3. King Tubby - 'Declaration of Dub' ('Declaration of Rights' - The Abyssinians)
I woke up groggy-headed from an awful night's sleep because it's so bloody hot, got up, read this post, played the above three songs (plus one of the above recommendations by 'Well Charge' - 'Jammy a No Fool'. and now I just feel BRILLIANT.
Thank God for Dub.
