Cheers for all the recommendations and advice.
For now I've gone for Congo Ashanti but I'll look into the others soon no doubt.
Thanks again - it was a good album.

Also check out their latest album with "pura vida" some great songs on it, the title is "Nah give up" only available on vinyl or download. I normally do not like the new stuff but this has the same vibe as in the early eighties.
And I also agree check out "Congo Ashanti" and "Face the music" well worth picking up

Give Them The Rights had some excellent tunes, such as Kingdom Rise and It Can't Work.

Congno Ashanti is their greatest achivement, its a faultless reggae album
face the music is great with some beautiful songs, but the sound quality is a little poor, at least on my copy.
Also if you should try to get a copy of the original mix of heart of the congos before perry was encouraged to make the far inferior mix that blood and fire re-released. The original mix was far superior and prooves that perry could have been taken so much more seriously as a producer if he hadn't been encouraged to make quirky sounds.
Blood and fire really missed a trick when they re-released the 2nd mix, they should have released the 1st mix as the main album and used the 2nd mix as bonus material.
