>>>>What's the original Cornell Campbell track like?<<<<<

The Cornell Campbell was the cover version, the original was by Boothe at Studio One c.1966.

Errol Dunkley's "Holding On" is a version to the Jammy$ cut, with Ranking Dread on the DJ section.

I was looking beside ST 1.
Org is KB in 1966 with the Soulbrothers band.

Cornell version is early reggae stuff.

Hi django

Thank you for that.
I dug out my copy of KB's 'A Man And His Hits at Studio One' album and it is attributed to 'K.Boothe - C.Dodd'. In the liner notes KB is quoted as saying that 'It was cut in '66 going into '67.'

Yes, 'Holding On'!! That's right. Thank you for that as well.

Hi Jah Glu

Just listened to Scientist Rids The World Of The Evil Curse of The Vampires and I hear where you are coming from. Track 2 - Dance Of The Vampires - 'You are no good, you are no good for the things you do in front of me...'

Great track, but definitely not a version of KB's 'You're No Good'.

Any ideas anyone?

Hi Jah Glu

Just seen on another thread that 'Dance Of The Vampires' is the dub cut of 'You Are No Good' by Michael Prophet.
