This is the site i used when creating custom ringtones. You upload and cut the ringtone you want and enter your phone number. The site sends a text message with an embeded link to your phone, you follow the link and your phone downloads the ringtone. Cost me about $4.00 in data charges though
but well worth it for Sizzla's Pay to Learn (tu)

If your phone can record voice memos why not hold it next to your speakers and record your favourite track that way, then set it as your ringtone... Think it should work with my Sony Ericsson phone anyway, must try it!

Well if your phone supports MP3 than it's very easy. Download a program from the net (I have MP3DirectCut), and just cut your mp3 to 30 secs, the seconds you want the ringtone to be. Transfer it with bluetooth or a SD cart of your phone, and voilà, totally free.

Or get Goldwave. Free download, you can cut any section you want from any MP3 and then save it in whatever format you want. Even I can use it and I hate computers...

It,s my way of spreading Reggae music to a wider audience...Always coming up with new ringtones, always reggae tunes. When someone ask me what me ringtone is I tell them it's jah Shaka or Prince Fari or whatever me current tone happen to be.
They are none the wiser but better informed !!

Back in the 1970s and early 80s when I had a selection of reggae records I knew plenty of people who loved reggae music. But I only knew about 4 or 5 people who really went out and bought records. The rest of them just borrowed, or taped our stuff.
So I wonder if things are really that different today.

If you hang out with music and music people and they all got music ring tones no one knows whos phones ringing.
