Packin' House also on Pressure Sounds...

"Packin' House" is great! I think I listen to it more than TEU. It isn't just Little Roy, but it does include the sublime "Natty Yard" and "Rat Trap". I imagine it might be easier to find and cheaper too, as it's a bit more recent. The booklet/liner notes that come with it are also really interesting.

on the subject of this album, does anyone know what the lyrics are on "tribal war" where he says something like "gangsters sitting up and licking a cup, one by one they take a little sup..." something like that? is that right? it has always bugged me since i first heard the tune on a pressure sounds comp years ago.

gangsters would fit considering the tune is called 'Tribal War" i guess?

I've always interpreted that lyric as: the gangsters (political gun men) are getting together and smoking a chalice (cup).

yeah smoking the cup of peace so there be no more tribal war.
