Ok, took awhile but I finally remembered the tune I was trying to think of. Mystery not only solved but expanded on by davek and Inyaki!

One last thing:
Riddimguide has 2 different listings for Take Five. One is Take 5/Russians are Coming, which is the Val Bennett, Jacob Miller, Barrington Levy-Captivity, that usually has the sax line from Take 5.
The other is listed as Take Five(2). This is the one with Minott, Tenor Saw, Al Campbell, etc, that I've been looking for. Similar rhythms but different enough to warrant two different listings.
Makes sense to me!
