Hey Rootsman

Dub Basket 1 & 2 and Pure Gold are also currently available on emusic, Itunes amazon etc

Having now listened to the two Jah Woosh albums I prefer Jah Jah Dey Dey which has a more melodious sing jay style of DJ'ing rather than the more shouting early DJ style on the other album.

They are both perfectly nice examples of Root's DJ'ing though, which if its a style you like then these albums are worth hearing. Until today I had only a handful of Jah Woosh tracks in my music library. Which always annoyed me a little since according to this very website he clearly made a few LPs

Another point is that if you already own thousands of LPs and CDs you will have limeted time left for listening to them all. So it doesn't make sense for me to further expand my music collection with rather mediocre quality downloads.
But as always there are exceptions to each rule. If some important music is not available elsewhere, I would of course settle with a download, because it's surely better than nothing.

But nothing can stand up to an original vinyl pressing. The more I love the music the more I want its initial, authentic release.
