He's an acquired taste right enough, but Eek's "For Hire and Removal" has long been one of my favourites, and he was great when I saw him in Glasgow in the mid-eighties.

His stuff is absolutely crazy, however his albums at the beginning of the 90's was not listenable as the other linval and junjo produced in the 80's.
I find it hard to listen to new stuff the reason being things went "Inna computer stylee" than the original backing bands

Thanks Roddy for posting this little gem.
When Eek A Mouse first hit the scene my take was, hmm, kinda weird vocal style.
Yesterday I was listening to Gunosantos' Rockers Foundation radio stream, when I hear a vocal that's like, "Bim bim, bada, bom" and think, oh there's Eek-A! Nice, haven't heard him in a while.
Excellent timing with the video!
