Keep in mind that by 1973, Marley had signed to Island Records and more or less removed himself from the mainstream reggae scene. That is: he produced his own material, didn't record a single here or a single there for producers, there are no Dillinger DJ versions of his songs, no King Tubby dubs, etc.

Mick, I'm sure you're right in principle, though there is the exception of the DJed (by "Wong Chu", apparently) and dubbed-up cut of Bob Marley's version of "Keep On Moving" on the flip of the Disco Devil 12"...

Contrary to what was posted earlier Family Man wrote most of the actual music after he and Carly moved from doing session work for most producers at the time. In terms of actual wording lyrics Marley wrote the majority of but in terms of music in the instramental sense i would say most was instigated by a combination of marleys ideas with Fams musical knowledge.
