I really can recommend "Rough Ina Town", a cd filled with Exterminator productions by Luciano, Capleton, Sizzla, etc... release on the Maximum Pressure label (from Pressure Sounds so quality guaranteed).

Yep, I'm a HUGE Xterminator fan, and that's a really good compilation. Good call rootmanx.

Though, to be fair, the tunes are getting close to 10 years old now. It may not be "current", but the music is timeless.

Ooh, ooh, ooh. How could I forget? ...For the latest and greatest in modern roots check out "Biggest Reggae One Drop Anthems 2006" (2 CD). Greensleves puts this series out. All killer, no filler.

There are not many strong new albums, imo, a lot of filler, but there are some nice 45s, so it's kind of hard to recommend... The following artists have released tunes that are definitely worth hearing, but other stuff they released is not so crucial or even plain bad:
Sizzla, Jah Cure, Capleton, Buju Banton, I Wayne, VC, Chezidek, Warrior King, Bitty McLean. The Xterminator label put out quite a few quality tunes. If you like dancehall I'd suggest Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, (Baby) Cham.
You have to find out for yourself what's good and what's not - perhaps listen to radioshows and podcasts to increase your knowledge
