Hi ranking Trevor
I picked up that CD from Amazon a while ago.
It still appears quite regularly.
Also check out Frankie Jones & Johnny Clarke "Sings Roots and Culture".
http://www.roots-archives.com/release/3536
That too is also a very good CD.
Respect
Dave

Gunosantos, you have heard both the Barry Brown solo Roots and Culture on Studio 1 and the one with willie Clarke on Fatman? Evan

Agreed Gunosantos, that Fatman LP is a winner. I picked up a real mint copy of it just before the holidays and it's been getting lots of play time already!

@ewg
nope, i was talking about the FATMAN LP's
BARRY BROWN & JOHHNY CLARKE
FRANKIE JONES & JOHNNY CLARKE
both albums are named "Sings Roots & Culture" and both have great selections for these singers.
Unfortunately, i've never heard this solo "ROOTS & CULTURE" from BB on Studio One, neither his "ROOTS & CULTURE" set on UPTEMPO label with Willie Williams....
I'd say i'm more interested in hearing the BARRY & WILLIE record, as i'm not A BIG BIG fan of studio one works... all riddims seems to be early reggae or rocksteady, even the ones recorded later on 70's....
Please anyone correct me if i'm wrong, and please give a line bout these 2last records i mentioned, if possible....
Blessings,
